Semaglutide must not be combined with any other GLP-1 medications.
Semaglutide can delay stomach emptying, potentially leading to complications during anesthesia or sedation. Notify healthcare providers before any scheduled surgery or procedure.
Use with caution in patients who have a history of diabetic retinopathy.
There have been reports of suicidal thoughts or actions associated with the use of this medication.
If you or any family members have been diagnosed with MultipleEndocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2 (MEN 2) or MedullaryThyroid Cancer (MTC) you should not take semaglutide.
If you have ever had pancreatitis consult with your medical provider asusing semaglutide can increase the risk of developing pancreatitis.
